Boostnote is a note-taking app specially made for fellow programmers. Apart from daily note taking, its greatest use is to help you keep track of countless code resources, and you can even take a single note and create multiple Tabs in it to form a separate Code project. You can even create multiple Tabs within a single note to form a separate Code project. The software supports favorites, tabs, grouping, searching, column switching and other features expected of a notes app.
At the bottom of the notes editing area, you can quickly select the code writing environment, choose the indentation method and the font size.

Boostnote is developed using the latest technologies such as Electron, React + Redux, Webpack, CSSModules and supports niche syntax formats like Latex. When creating notes in groups, users can choose between Markdown and Snippet modes, with Markdown automatically supporting various MD syntaxes and Latex formats, and Snippet providing users with a wide range of code writing environments.

Boostnote has a note grouping feature called ‘Storage’, and future versions will include cloud directory grouping for Google Drive and Dropbox.
UI customisation for a more colourful desktop
The software offers a black and white theme and dozens of text colours to choose from. You can also set the font, font size, line spacing, preview toggle, Keymap and customise the style of the preview window.
Dev Track
The unique Dev Track feature allows you to list your development progress in your notes, with a check mark for each completed feature indicating that the corresponding progress has been completed, and a progress bar at the top to show the progress ratio in parallel.
Finder Popup
In addition to the main window, Boostnote also has a separate Finder Popup window for users to find historical documents directly in the app. You can also filter documents in advance by criteria such as ‘favourites’ and ‘groups’.
Quick code copy
Boostnote helps programmers to be more productive by quickly copying code to the clipboard.
Boostnote is currently available as a free download on its website and as a client for Windows and Linux.
